Dakar Transmission corp

I highly recommend this transmission repair shop. After getting my CVT transmission's valve body replaced for $300—the best price I found in the city—I'm impressed with everything about this place, especially in an industry full of scams. The technician was knowledgeable, polite, and took time to explain the issue and repair process without rushing. He provided fair estimates both with and without parts, diagnosed my problem accurately, and completed the work within a reasonable timeframe. The workmanship is professional and my car runs better than it has in years. Beyond the transmission work, they also handled my engine oil change for $100. Their prices are competitive, and they clearly know exactly what needs to be done. I'm very satisfied and would recommend them for any transmission or automotive needs in the city. So far the repair is holding strong. I'll update this review after several months to confirm the long-term quality of the work.

My daughter purchased her first used car 1 month ago. We did get an extended warranty which was worth it because her transmission went 2 weeks after. I went to Dakar because my local mechanic that does not replace transmissions recommended these guys. I took the car to them and met with Wilson. From there he made the process simple dealing directly with the warranty company and had a brand new transmission replaced within 1 week. These guys are masters with transmissions!

Came here for an oil change and some service parts checked. They were thorough and totally pet-friendly. My doggo was a good sport waiting with me. They explained a few other problems they found and advised me on when they recommend I can return but safe enough to drive until then. Compared to other places they didn’t make me feel being taken advantage on pricing. Totally fair since I also got quotes in other places. Overall recommend this place and will definitely return.

Once the job was done I was to impressed with the work that I had them work on some other issues I had with my car. From now on this is my place to go when I need some real work done on my car. Everyone there is very honest and very professional. Thank you guys for a job well done on my car. It's been about a month now and my car is running great!!!!!
